The La Touche family mansion, which stood on the Delgany estate for three centuries but now exists in name only, was demolished in the 1950s and one of its remnants is Bellevue Heights. As the name suggests, it is situated above the coastal town of Greystones, County Wicklow.

Now returning to her West Clare roots – where remote working has made moving possible – the owner says leaving Greystones has not been easy: “I’ve made great friends and the neighbors are lovely; It’s a great community.” She walked everywhere, rarely drove, and always rode her bike to the beach in the morning for a swim. The house is a 15-minute walk from Delgany wood and 25 minutes across the golf course to Dart. Down the hill from the manor there are shops such as Donnybrook Fair and Tesco nearby. “My quality of life is really good, it’s very ‘country’ in its own way and everyone gets to know you very quickly,” she added.
