AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas at Austin has launched its first-ever campus-wide Speakers Bureau, a new program that makes it easier for organizations to learn about and engage people from the UT community of experts and leaders as speakers at their events and conferences.
Powered by Texas Executive Education, the UT Speakers Bureau will exclusively offer perspectives from respected scholars, researchers, administrative leaders, coaches and other professionals. Organizations, professional conferences and anyone else looking for keynote speakers and subject matter experts have only one entry point to learn about, select and hire the perfect speaker for their needs.
Gaylen Paulson, associate dean at the McCombs School of Business and executive director of the Texas Executive Education Center, said: “At the Texas Executive Education Center, we often stand at a different angle than those seeking to partner with universities. The front line of contact for companies.” “One thing we sometimes hear is how challenging it is to navigate universities and find the right expert speakers for their events, or know who is available or interested in these opportunities nature. The university’s internationally renowned group of faculty experts, coaching legends, staff leaders, alumni executives and more have provided outstanding keynote speakers and other event participants to local and national organizations for decades. As Austin continues to attract more companies and host more national and international conferences, the demand for these local experts is higher than ever.
