Darling Crackles is a full-service marketing agency specializing in the hospitality industry. We also own a lifestyle website eatdrinkplay.com and a boutique events company called Secret Foodies. Our clients include some of Australia’s best restaurants and bars. We work with clients to design and execute marketing campaigns that bring energy and buzz to their venues.
We are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Manager/Content Creator to join our team. You will work closely with the Creative Executive to develop and execute engaging social media strategies for our diverse client portfolio within the dynamic Sydney hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
· Work with creative executives to develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with client goals.
· Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our clients gain a competitive advantage.
· Visit various hotel venues across Sydney to collect high quality, engaging content for use on social media platforms.
· Develop visually appealing brand content, including images, videos and other multimedia elements.
· Manage and oversee multiple client social media accounts to ensure consistent brand messaging and high levels of audience engagement.
· Utilize social media management tools to schedule and publish content on various platforms.
· Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize strategies and achieve campaign goals.
· Assist in preparing periodic reports for clients to demonstrate the impact of social media efforts.
· Work closely with internal teams, including creative departments, to ensure seamless integration of social media strategy into overall marketing campaigns.
qualifications:
· Extensive experience in social media management and content creation (especially in the hotel industry).
· Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices.
· Excellent photography and photography skills.
· Ability to write engaging social media headlines
· Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Sked).
· Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and storytelling.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
working environment:
It’s a hybrid role. You will be working with the team every Wednesday in our office in the CBD. You have the flexibility to work from home on other days of the week.
You will be required to visit the venue on a weekly basis, so although your work environment will be flexible, you do need to be out and about frequently.
