This position will be responsible for leveraging the capabilities of the SeatGeek ticketing system, ensuring ongoing development and coordinating system testing and implementation of new system features to maximize sales and revenue opportunities while ensuring a seamless online user experience.
The goals of this role are:
- Ensuring the club remains at the forefront of technological advancements in ticket sales both through backend and online including the customer journey.
- Develop ultimate utilization of all functionality within the SeatGeek Ticketing Platform to maximize sales and revenue opportunities.

The process of purchasing tickets is easiest for both online and backend sales.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Manage and assist with the setup of all fixtures and events within the ticketing system.
- Maintain ticketing and hospitality systems for all fixtures and events at Elland Road
- Input ticketing and hospitality strategies and oversee implementation of strategic system elements.
- Work with the Ticketing Product Owner to plan system development based on agreed strategy and department goals.
- Maximize the club’s commercial and cross-selling opportunities and proactively generate sales.
- Conduct system-led processes such as ballot applications, automatic renewals, cup planning
Effective and efficient way. - Oversee and plan any ticketing system training and development needs on behalf of the Ticketing and Hospitality teams.
- Use the SeatGeek Help Desk to manage and log any cases.
- Develop and maintain the entire online ticketing customer journey for general admission and hospitality ticket sales.
- Understand departmental goals and create a product development roadmap to achieve this goal while aligning with broader product strategy.
- Manage the testing and implementation process of new ticketing functionality. Test and pilot all new digital technologies that can further enhance the fan experience and/or generate online revenue across all ticketing and hotel inventory.
- Prepare regular ticketing and hotel reports and analysis.
- Explore all of SeatGeek’s features to ensure we’re using the platform to its full potential.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and become a trusted champion within the business.
- Liaise with other clubs and other key industry colleagues to share knowledge and best practice with a view to implementing any good practice within our clubs.

The ideal candidate should also have:
- Have extensive experience and/or knowledge working with the following ticketing software companies:
o SeatGeek/SRO/Unify - Substantial experience and/or knowledge using the following access controls:
o Skidata/handshake/Sweb - Interested in football/sports industry
- Have a general interest in a wider range of computers, hardware and software

- Computer skills are not limited to but must include:
– Advanced users of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
– Intermediate HTML skills
– Basic understanding of how to edit documents in the ticketing system, such as confirmation emails or other such documents.
– Good understanding of how ticketing systems integrate into access control systems
• Ability to analyze all system processes in the ticketing and hotel industry for maximum efficiency.
