The non-profit organization Make-A-Wish Foundation Creating “life-changing wishes” for children with serious illnesses. But to make those wishes come true, it relies on “wishmakers” around the world to help make them happen.

The global campaign aims to recruit 1 million people worldwide to register as “WishMakers” by the end of April world wishes month.
“Wishes are an important part of children’s healthcare, and they wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and generosity of Make-A-Wishers, who continue to make life better for children with critical illnesses.” Mott said in a statement. “When a wish comes true, it changes everyone involved, and we long for our ‘wish-makers’ to experience and feel firsthand the power and hope that a wish brings.”
Four local corporate partners will host World Wish Month events in stores or online to raise funds and attract customers, the local chapter said.they include Hotel Douro, pet evolution, this Texas Rangers, and Tiff’s treat.
Their support will aid the efforts of national corporate partners, including American Airlines, Avis, Bakers Square, BHG Financial, BuzzRx, Chase, Dave & Buster’s, Disney, Duck Donuts, Famous Dave’s, Fanatics, Frios Gourmet Pops, GameStop, Granite City, IT’SUGAR, Jumpzylla, Keebler, Kendra Scott, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Main Event, Marquis, Painting with a Twist, Red Lobster, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers & Brews, Royal Caribbean International, Snappy, Sugarwish, The Learning Experience, Topgolf, United Airlines, Village Inn, Vivid Seats, and wwe.
Throughout the month, celebrity supporters will share their reasons for granting their wishes and encourage others to join them, the organization said.
A key date this month is world wish dayPays homage to the original Make-A-Wishers, a group of people who came together in 1980 to grant a 7-year-old boy’s wish to become a police officer.
Since then, the global Make-A-Wish movement has granted “more than 585,000 life-changing wishes,” Make-A-Wish said.
