The Queen Creek Police Department is currently recruiting new officers.
“QCPD is seeking new individuals who will align with the organization’s philosophy of community-based policing and provide services with respect, compassion and trust,” according to a press release.
New recruits are tentatively scheduled to begin entering the police academy in September 2024.
“We are excited to recruit more new officers to join our team,” QCPD Chief Randy Brice said in a news release. “It is important that we find the right talent ready to serve our community. Provide best-in-class service and are aligned with our vision to connect, engage and succeed together. We are committed to finding and hiring people who have a service mindset, embrace teamwork and are willing to contribute to ensuring Queen Creek is a safe place to live, work and play. talents who contribute to the mission.
QCPD is entering a period of growth as it adds and expands services to support its community-oriented and intelligence-led policing strategy. This growth will include:
- New and expanded professional tasks
- On-the-job training and career development opportunities
- Latest equipment and technology
- Rapidly expand public safety infrastructure
Minimum qualifications for officer recruitment positions include:
- High school diploma, GE or equivalent
- Be 21 years of age or older (or be 21 years of age upon completion of the Police Academy, which is expected to be sometime in February 2025);
- No felony convictions (or convictions for any crime committed in Arizona).
