Mews, the industry’s leading hotel cloud, today announced the acquisition of Frontdesk Anywhere, a San Francisco-based cloud hotel management software.
The acquisition, managed by Mews Ventures, aims to accelerate the transformation of the hospitality industry and is the third in North America in less than a year. It represents further investment in the area as Mews continues to expand its reach. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Born in the heart of Silicon Valley in 2009, Frontdesk Anywhere is an award-winning, cloud-based property management system for independent hotels and management groups. It provides hoteliers with a platform to streamline operations, increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.
Prior to acquiring Frontdesk Anywhere, Mews had experienced an incredible year of momentum. In 2023, Mews has more than 5,000 customers worldwide, and the amount processed through Mews Payments exceeds US$5 billion. With the addition of Frontdesk Anywhere, this number will only grow further as Mews continues to automate operations for modern hoteliers so they can focus on their guests.

The acquisition of Frontdesk Anywhere marks Mews Ventures’ eighth acquisition, with previous acquisitions including HotelPerfect (2021), Cenium (2022), Bizzon (2022), Hotelello (2023) and Nomi (2023).
