Regional venue operator Discovery Events has launched a new conference facility in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia.
The 30-person executive boardroom is the focus of the company’s updated 2024 portfolio.
Situated on 32 acres of picturesque grounds, adjacent to the Adelaide Hills Convention Center and only 800 meters from Hahndorf’s main street, the Summit Board Rooms are suitable for board meetings, seminars and corporate retreats.
It features a 30-seat conference table with integrated AV and video conferencing facilities, an open gas fire and a lounge area. It also offers an adjoining function space with a full bar, lounge area and open plan layout that can be used as a lounge space or for private dinners leading to the alfresco space and lawn area.
Discovery Events, part of the G’day Group, is expanding its services in the regional events market, including building a new venue in Alice Springs, as well as services in Byron Bay, Nagambie. Nagambie and Lake Hume sites are being renovated.
The Nagambie Lakes Function Center is being rebuilt following widespread flooding in late 2022. Its remodeled floor plan now features a separate executive conference room and an expanded commercial kitchen.
Its internal accommodation is elevated above major flood levels and offers views over the Goulburn River.
