Stepping out of Venus et Fleur’s new outpost in Houston’s Oaks Mall, with its pistachio-lime-painted exterior, it’s easy to forget that the interior is a retail space for a luxury floral brand, rather than a mythical Greek garden. Arched doorways, dreamy marble, and a pedestal adorned with bouquets that could last a year, are undoubtedly reminiscent of a foyer fit for the ancient gods. For a romantic yet elegant interior, New York-based Ringo Studio looked to classic architecture to bring the company’s florals to life.
Although this is Venus et Fleur’s tenth store, it is the first to reflect the brand’s new physical retail identity designed by the studio. Since its founding in 2015, the floral company has grown to celebrity status with its star-studded client list, including the likes of Kim Kardashian and Gigi Hadid. Ringo Studio has updated the brand’s identity to better reflect its lofty image, as well as its signature product: Eternity® Flowers, flower arrangements that use a proprietary non-toxic preservation technology that lasts for up to one year. This collaboration involves not only conceptualizing the latest boutique, but also shaping the brand’s marketing strategy, coordinating the seamless launch of new product lines, and ensuring brand consistency across all stores and product storytelling.
