The monthly salary range for this position is US$8,849 to US$11,857, and the application deadline is February 13.
The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is seeking Senior Project Manager (IT Specialist II) is responsible for project management and project support functions to manage complex IT projects.
The department’s information systems division works with programs and county agencies to provide solutions for systems that help families access medical services, caregivers, groceries, transportation and more.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Oversee and manage the scope, resources and timelines of all aspects related to the project.
- Plan, implement and coordinate project activities with internal and/or external stakeholders, oversight agencies and vendor teams.
- Participate in and oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of single project goals and short- and long-term plans; develop tracking and evaluation plans to assist in achieving established project goals and objectives.
- Manage working relationships and collaboration among project leaders, agency and department boards, business partners, stakeholders and advocacy groups.
According to the job posting and job description, required qualifications include:
- PMP certification and three years of project management experience leading IT projects.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM framework.
