Hobbs Beer Company is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team.
The Sales Manager is the representative of Hobbs Beer Company to retailers and wholesale personnel. If you enjoy building and nurturing relationships within the industry and want to get others as passionate as you are about the beer you sell, you’ll be a great fit for this role. The ideal candidate will be adept at time management, perform most work remotely/travel to clients, and make regular visits to the brewery in Ossipee, NH. Includes use of company vehicles. Requires some evenings and weekends.
What you will do:
- Act as the primary point of contact for distribution partners
- Visit key internal and external customers, including current and potential buyers, track and update customer visit activity and notes; monitor volume, distribution and opportunities
- Maintain detailed, up-to-date knowledge about all our products
- Understand and communicate pricing, planning, and trends; assist in delivering monthly deliverables (product lineup, pricing, trends, etc.)
- Assist reseller partners in promoting sales and marketing programs
- Maintain high market visibility; represent Hobbs Beer Company at tastings, promotions, beer festivals and trade shows; serve as liaison for local sponsorship, event and donation opportunities
- Serve as liaison and scheduler for Wine Tasting Ambassadors
- Review trade work with dealers and Hobbs personnel via email/weekly meetings
- Comply with all state and federal laws regarding the sale, merchandising and promotion of beer products; manage the state beer and label approval process
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
- 2-3 years sales experiencemanagement or customer relations
- Must have high learning ability, be proactive, and be good at communicating with others
- Applicants with experience or understanding of dealer operations and key account liaisons will be given priority
- Requires basic computer skills, including word, excel and email
- Strong communication and presentation skills and dynamic public speaking are also a strength
- Immaculate motor vehicle record (MVR) and ability to drive a vehicle, including long distance journeys
- Excellent, consistent follow-up
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to balance time-out within trade and administrative responsibilities
- Flexible schedule that allows for occasional night and weekend work, as well as frequent Saturday work during the summer
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 55 pounds

qualifications:
