Located in Eastern Michigan, this position works directly with designated regional Blakes Hard Cider wholesalers and their sales management and employees to promote sales of the entire Blakes brand while achieving or exceeding target distribution and sales goals. Eastern Michigan RSM establishes and maintains professional sales relationships with major retailers and distributors within designated areas, with the goal of continually improving sales and distribution at all levels.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities

· Support Black’s Hard Cider’s core values, purpose and philosophy
· Maintain ongoing communication with the Regional Director, Wholesaler Brand Manager and other key management contacts of assigned dealers, dealer sales personnel, and key retailers across all business units, including internal and external independent dealers, internal and external chain accounts, and Special Events and Venues.
· Develop a quarterly goal list based on goals and objectives to support the annual brand plan
· Must be able to analyze and develop sales opportunity data and reports from VIP Software or sales software provided by other companies.
· Leverage VIP/Karma to organize workflow, record trade call frequency, and communicate marketing events and opportunities to dealers.
· Establish and maintain positive and beneficial relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
· Conduct ongoing brand training with retailers, dealer partners and consumers.
· Assist with all special events and festivals within the territory.
· May be selected to travel and support brand initiatives in other markets through Crew Drives and Market Blitz events.
· As Blake’s Beverage Collective grows, you may have opportunities to sell products outside of the Blake’s Hard Cider portfolio.
· Perform assigned administrative tasks (expense reporting, monthly work calendar, establishing assigned goals).
· Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times.
· Ability to maintain and report expense budgets within given parameters.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· The ability to measure capabilities through defined KPIs that indicate and manage individual and collective performance.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities

· Live in an area covered by RSM.
· Self-starter/self-motivated
· Reliable car and valid driver’s license
· Ability to work a flexible schedule; able to work evenings and weekends if necessary.
· Understand that schedules will vary during peak times of the year, so flexibility is a must.
· Excellent organizational, planning and sales skills
· Minimum five years’ experience working in a tertiary distribution system for a beer wholesaler or beverage supplier.
· Extensive knowledge of craft beer, hard cider, FMB and all other non-hard alcoholic beverages, the industry as a whole, its retailers and consumers.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
· Excellent verbal, analytical, written and communication skills.
· Dynamic public speaking and presentation skills
· Business travel is required.
Education and/or experience
Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or at least two years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
