You will be responsible for managing and growing business with opticians, regional department stores and independent clients. The primary goal of this position is to proactively drive sales and achieve budget goals by building a quality distribution network and strong relationships with business partners.
How you will contribute
- Evaluate new customer positioning and suitability for launching new brand/range.
- Maintains brand integrity by ensuring product is distributed in the door appropriate to the image/positioning/location and displayed in-store according to brand marketing standards.
- Research and target new customers.
- Ensure effective visit planning to achieve KPIs in terms of frequency of visits to each store, brand awareness of the store and sales of each store.
- Brand presentation and sales of new collections.
- Provides general in-store training to the retailer’s sales staff on brand, products and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure adequate levels of inventory at POS in designated areas and support inventory management processes.
- Focus on working with the trade marketing team to implement trade marketing campaigns to maximize client sales.
- Collect sales reports from customers.
- Work with Customer Service to collect and manage orders.
- Check whether VM complies with Kering Group’s distribution strategy, manage and ensure the correct installation of point-of-sale marketing materials; support the planning and implementation of window activities in key locations.
- In-store brand image management: Actively manage and optimize brand image through negotiation and increasing brand awareness (dedicated space, window display, etc.)
- Ensures the highest possible customer service and tracking of orders and deliveries.
- An attitude that builds strong external and internal relationships.
- Assist the Finance Department with invoice, debit and credit note inquiries.
- Process customer’s commercial return requests, always in compliance with company policies and instructions.
Who are you
- 2+ years of field sales experience with a proven track record in fashion/accessories/lifestyle/cosmetics or high-end consumer products.
- Experience in the eyewear industry will be an advantage but is not required.
- Can travel 80% of the time.
- Completely clean driving license.
- Excellent communicator with presentation skills.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to scale business and identify and develop new opportunities.
- Be confident in all aspects of working with clients and managing accounts.
- Someone with negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively under the pressure of seasonality and client deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and improve the sales process.
