Fourth place in National Sales Challenge
The Ted Rogers Undergraduate Sales Team was named fourth among 25 colleges in the William Paterson University National Sales Challenge as the 2023 College Sales Team Champions (external link) .
The National Sales Challenge takes place November 15-17, 2023 in Wayne, New Jersey. During the competition, student teams tackle a series of sales challenges, hone their skills, meet with major company representatives and gain real-world business knowledge.
“We are very proud of our students’ outstanding performance in the Personal Sales Role Play Competition and would like to give special recognition to Anas Abdul Rauf Finished 4th in the Personal Role Playing Category and Isabel Marimon Gonzalez In recognition of her outstanding performance, which helped her achieve fourth place in college!we are also grateful Camila Laco “Who are our industry coaches for this event,” said Dr. Pisk.
The collaborative efforts of Ted Rogers School sales students really shine in these competitive environments, Dr. Pisk said. “Our students have worked tirelessly throughout the semester practicing role plays and preparing for events like this. We are extremely proud of their outstanding results.”
“It’s been a real pleasure to see the development of our students’ sales leadership and teamwork skills. The positive impact of sales education on these young people is truly remarkable,” she said.
The Ted Rogers Undergraduate Sales Team is a competitive team of high-performing sales students representing City University of Toronto in international competitions. In 2021 and 2020, the TRUST team placed 10th and 8th out of 68 colleges in the National College Sales Competition (NCSC), one of the oldest and largest college sales competitions in the world.
In 2018, after the program was launched, the TRUST team won the overall championship of the college team in the Northeast Intercollegiate Sales Competition (NISC) (external link) This includes 22 other schools from across the United States. Since then, the team has won multiple awards and placed at the top of the Northeastern Intercollegiate Sales Competition, among others.
